Acne Scar Treatments Review

Acne NO More - Acne Treatments ReviewAcne, frequently known as pimples, is an inflammatory condition of the skin. It's caused by changes in the pilosebaceous. The most common type of acne is named a "acne vulgaris", which means "common acne". The hair folicles are clogged by the combination of oils and useless skin cells. Papules, pustules, comedones, nodules and inflammatory cysts are the different types of acne lesions. They are primarily triggered on the face, back, shoulders, chest and upper arms. These acne lesions are inflamed type of pus-filled reddish bumps that show up primarily during teenage years.

There are a variety of aspects causing acne. Many of them are the hormonal activities such as the menstrual cycle and increased output of hormones through the adrenal glands. Accumulation of useless skin cells, bacteria in the pores, skin irritation or itching, use of antibiotic steroids, use of medication containing lithium, barbiturates, halogens  or androgens, and exposure to high levels of chlorine materials also can cause acne.

Ace treatments can be done with the help of benzoyl peroxide, proactive solution, tretinion, isotretinion, antibiotics, contraceptive pills, salicylic acid, adapalene, laser treatment, blue light treatment and herbal treatments. 90% of teenagers have acne. Acne can be handled in several ways. Exfoliating the skin, using topical bactericidals, oral antibiotics, hormonal treatment, topical antibiotics,  external retinoids, oral retinoids, and phototherapy are a lot of the ways of treating acne. The non inflammatory acne can be handled with azelaic, topical retinoids, salicytic acid  and benzoyl peroxide. The light inflammatory acne can be handled with topical antibiotics. Isotretinion and topical retinoids are used to relieve mild inflammatory acne. Contraceptive pills with cyproterone can be used by women with virilization to relieve serious inflammatory acne.

Acne normally leaves a scar behind. There are several scar treatments to eliminate the mark -

  • Laser resurfacing - The top layer from the skin is burnt off by a laser.
  • Dermabrasion - A high-speed rotary wire brush or diamond-coated fraise is used to eliminate the top layer of the skin to create the scar look less pitted. This is done by a cosmetic surgeon.
  • Chemical peels - Glycolic, salicylic, or lactic are ascribed to the skin to obtain a softer layer in an acid peel.
  • Microdermabrasion - It requires blasting tiny crystals at the skin and massaging the skin with a rough tool.
  • Subcision - A deep pool of blood is made below the scar by detaching the scar from deeper tissue. This blood helps form a connective tissue below the scar, so levelling it with the surface.
  • Punch excision - A punch tool is used, by using which the scar is excised, and the edges are sutured together.
  • Dermal filler - An injectable filler can be used to fill up the scar.

Mantaining a good hygeine using appropriate diet and medications help to minimize the occurance of acme, so boosting your confidence level and self-confidence.
